Benefield House Bed & Breakfast

I’ve been visiting Jefferson for 30 years and came prepared as usual, but the cottage had everything so thoughtfully stocked that I didn’t need a thing. It was also so clean, fresh, and well kept, I didn’t need Benadryl this trip, LOL. The up-to-date technology and peaceful privacy made the stay comfortable and rejuvenating. I really appreciated being welcomed with my fur babies, which made everything more special and stress-free. And that breakfast delivered this morning felt like such a lovely treat. The flavors and textures were perfectly balanced, and the generous presentation was thoughtful. I’m so grateful for the warm hospitality. I didn’t want to leave without saying how relaxing and memorable my stay was.

Tommy greeted us with a cheerful good morning, and the smell of coffee brewing was a lovely start to the day. Breakfast began with homemade apple turnovers topped with fresh whipped cream, and the meal was delicious. Everything was presented with thought and care. You can tell they love spoiling their guests, and we’ll make this sweet B&B a yearly stop when driving back from vacation in Missouri. The house felt welcoming as soon as we arrived. Our room was spacious, with a big bathroom and one of the most comfortable beds.

We looked forward to seeing what our hosts had made each morning. The breakfasts were creative, beautifully served, and delicious every day. Our hosts are great Jefferson residents who shared local history and hot spots to visit. We had both a room inside the house and a cottage behind it, and each was lovely and equipped with everything we could need. From our arrival at Benefield House B&B through the rest of our stay, we were welcomed and made comfortable. Jefferson, Texas has plenty of places to choose from, and I’m sure you’ll be glad you picked Benefield House.

This year all three rooms were full, so my husband and I stayed in one of the cottages behind the house. Breakfast was brought to our door, and both mornings it was delicious. The owners always make us feel right at home at Benefield House. We love staying here and can’t wait to stay with Tommy and Nicole again!
