The Captain's Castle

We stayed in the Honeymoon suite, the little cabin outside the beautiful historic home. It had been recently renovated, was decorated beautifully, and felt clean and comfortable. Snacks and drinks were in the room at no extra charge, and breakfast at a local place was included too. The Inn's delightful owners made us comfortable and were willing to provide every accommodation we could imagine. We'd definitely stay again when we're in the area.

We came back this time and went inside the house. It's being renovated, and it looks like it will be nice once it's finished. A few years ago the owner was never around, and the house was run down, with a cat pee smell outside. The cottages out back were nice, though the fireplace didn't work. Give it a try when the renovation is done!

We were welcomed for my birthday with warm smiles and a few special birthday things in our room. Mike and Sandi are so kind and down to earth, and staying here feels like home. We're in the McCasland Cottage, which is beautiful. The house has lovely history and vintage decor, and the parlor is our favorite part. I'd recommend it to anyone.

We stayed in the captains quarters and were really pleased with the room. We didn't get to meet the host because we'd been out all day trying to see and do everything before the storm rolled in. We just settled in and went to sleep.
