The little balcony and old-fashioned tub were lovely, and the room's fireplace made for a cozy atmosphere. We slept really well. We celebrated our anniversary here in 2018, and they made a fresh gluten-free meal for my allergy. They clearly knew how to handle it. We also visited The Jeffersob General Store, which was amazing, and took a carriage ride around Jefferson. We learned about its history and saw so many incredible old houses. The whole visit was inspiring.

We had such a nice breakfast, and really enjoyed chatting with the other guests. Our host was friendly, knew a lot, and was a great cook. The room was gorgeous, very clean, and had a wonderful selection of coffee. It was a fantastic honeymoon gift, and I'd definitely recommend staying here. I hope we can come back.

Dave served us two breakfasts that were among the best I've ever had, well beyond the usual breakfast. The German Puff Pancakes with his special Apple Brandy sauce were amazing. We spent two nights in Jefferson for our 29th Wedding Anniversary and had a great time at White Oak Manor. The beautiful, charming house is close enough to walk to Historic Downtown, though it was too hot for us to do that. This was our first B&B stay, and after this weekend the others may have a hard time measuring up.

We loved strolling around Jefferson, taking in the historic homes and the scenic, well-planned town. It's a place that sticks with you. During our two-day stay at White Oak Manor Bed & Breakfast in Jefferson, Texas, we also took Capt Dan's Boat Tour, just a short drive away, and highly recommend it. Riverport BBQ was great for lunch or an early dinner, since it closes at 5. The chili and brisket were very tasty. The centrally located B&B was an easy walk to downtown, clean and comfortable, with lots of things to look at. David and Tammy were gracious, kind, informative, and funny, and David's breakfasts were yummy. We had a fantastic visit.
