Quality Inn Washington Court House

It's quiet here, in a nice area close to other restaurants. The swimming pool is great, though they don't talk about it, and it's also a good place to read if you don't swim. The amenities are fantastic: everything works, nothing's broken, the beds are great, and the rooms are large. It's extremely, extremely clean all the way through. A great place to stay.

The sidewalks were still covered with snow and ice, which was a hazard for my wife and me. At breakfast there were only a couple of sausage patties and a small spoonful of eggs left. In the morning, I couldn't find anyone at the desk who could understand me well or locate a manager. At check-in, the fellow was very nice, though he was spending his free time in a pickup truck with others in the parking lot. Our first room hadn't been cleaned after the previous guests: the bed was unmade, dirty bedding was still on it, and food containers, drink containers, towels, and washcloths were left behind. The desk man gave us another room and checked that it was clean. It was okay for sleeping, but the shower was nasty, with the tub's top fiberglass layer peeling. The fixtures were old, tarnished, and chalky looking. The bathroom door had several badly caulked holes, and the night latch was missing. We let the water run for 20 minutes in the morning, but it never got hot enough to shower or wash up. Stay away!

Breakfast was very good, and the room looked great when we checked in, with a clean bed. But as we were leaving in the morning, we saw a bed bug. We alerted the front desk.

We had booked five days but had to leave after two. Lima told my husband he couldn't get a refund. He'd stayed there for three weeks, but they hadn't even entered his phone number to track his points, so we had to call and get the points credited ourselves. We're so disappointed and unhappy. Why can't people just be honest and do their jobs?
