Best Western Plus Jekyll Island

The coffee was a real plus for me. I’m picky about it, and their machine was free 24 hours a day, made strong, good coffee, and had espresso, café mocha, and lots of other choices. We can spend about $50 on Starbucks in a day on vacation, so that helped make up for the higher hotel rate. Breakfast surprised me, too. I usually don’t eat hotel breakfast, but the ham and eggs were really good, and I liked the yogurt machine. I’d thought the price was a bit high since the hotel wasn’t right on the beach, but after checking in, we were just steps away. Our room was pretty, clean, and comfy, with soft pillow-top beds and pillows. Thanks, BWP. If we’re back in the area, we’ll stay again :)

Jessica at the front desk gave us such a warm welcome and shared lots of useful information about the island. She helped us feel at home right away. Our room was clean, cozy, and comfortable, and I especially appreciated the warm shower and good water pressure. The stay was a fantastic experience, with great value for the price. Jessica and the staff made the trip special. I’d happily recommend the Best Western Plus Jekyll Island to anyone visiting Jekyll Island.

The pool area looked beautiful, though we caught a cold snap and didn’t use it. Breakfast was good, and the staff were very nice. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. We stayed two nights to bike around the island, and the location was perfect: across the street from the main island path and an easy walk to the beach. Can’t wait to stay again.

The manager and staff made a real effort, helping us conduct business and sort out logistics. They were well above what I’d call average service in America. The hotel was comfortable, clean, and relaxing, and the breakfast was five-star. Some rooms may have a kitchen with everything you need for a fun family vacation.
