The Westin Jekyll Island Beach Resort

The breakfast at the onsite restaurant was delicious. I especially recommend the honey butter chicken biscuit with a side of sausage gravy. The resort also has great amenities, and the front desk clerks can offer advice about things to do. Jekyll Island itself is beautiful for a weekend getaway. I enjoyed my stay from arrival through checkout. The staff were friendly and helpful, the resort was clean, and my spacious room had a wonderful ocean view and a comfortable bed. I’ve stayed at the Westin on Jekyll Island a few times this year, and every visit has been wonderful. The rooms are clean and fresh, with that relaxed, beachy feel that suits the island. The location is excellent, and the front desk staff are pleasant. Everyone’s generally friendly, too. I love it here, and an ocean-view room is worth every penny.

Emily in the hotel restaurant was so kind and a great hostess. My meal wasn’t great, but she made a real difference. The dining options in the hotel were decent enough, too. I came for spring break 2026 and had a great time. The ocean view from my balcony was awesome, and the little shop area nearby made everything feel walkable. My room was nice and clean, with a super comfortable bed. The entryway floor was a bit bumpy, and the shower pressure was low, but those were my only room concerns. The "sleep well" room-service order, though, was disappointing. The menu offered cookies and milk, but didn’t say it was two small cookies and a kids cup of milk. It cost $16 plus tip, and I was annoyed to pay that much without knowing what I’d get. The fire alarm also went off while I was there, and I only heard what had happened from other guests. Staff didn’t communicate about it. The service as a whole needs work, though not the employees. Still, the stay was great, and the location is a real selling point.

The Westin Jekyll Island made a strong impression, even with just one night there. The property is right on the beach and has a calm, welcoming feel. Our room was spotless and comfortable, and the hotel’s pet-friendly approach made the trip much easier and more enjoyable. Staff were friendly, too. We’re already planning a return and hope to stay longer next time.
