We stayed six days and left disappointed. The suite felt dark and noisy, and the property didn't come close to the luxury experience promised on its website. The efficiency suite was poor value for what we paid, though it might be acceptable as a very basic hotel room. The low occupancy we noticed during our stay may reflect these problems. The room itself was bare bones. We got no welcome information or hotel guide, no spare toilet paper roll, and the kitchenette lacked knives, a spatula, dish soap, and dish towels. For an efficiency suite, those basics should have been there. The restaurant serves no breakfast and didn't feel like the romantic dinner spot it was made out to be. We got little useful help when we reported a noisy vent, a broken coffeemaker, and a closet door problem. Housekeeping didn't keep toilet paper and towels adequately stocked. The soap and shampoo dispensers were dirty and unlabeled, and the floors didn't seem properly swept. Around the common areas, finding information about the room, services, or equipment felt like a treasure hunt. The sun deck could have been a highlight, but it looked poorly maintained, with exposed wires and other upkeep concerns. There were maintenance problems throughout, including paper towels stuffed into holes, pictures left on the floor, and visible floor damage. On our last night, at around 11:30 p.m., workers woke us with power equipment on the roof. It was extremely disruptive and frustrating. It seemed the building owners and hotel operator either weren't communicating or didn't care much about guests.

The location was nice, but the room was unbearable and I won't stay here again. The shower wasn't clean, and the fan only stopped when I turned off the main light too. The TV wouldn't go above a certain volume. The AC kept blowing cool air until I was cold. There was no staff on duty, so I had to go into their closet and find a code for the person I had to call to get blankets, just so I could make the room bearable. This was on Valentine's Day, at $330 a night. Four thumbs down.

If you want to stay downtown in Jensen Beach, the location is ideal, with great restaurants and a cute downtown just an easy walk away. But the hotel is right next to a train track, and trains run all day and night. We were woken several times by horns and the room shaking, which made it hard to enjoy the stay. On Thursday night, Jammin' Jensen street festivals were on. Other vehicles had taken the few on-site parking spots, so we had to park down the road beside the train track, and found a spot there late at night. The room itself was spacious, nicely decorated, and a step above the usual sterile big-company hotel. Communication is all electronic, which was fine for us, but don't expect a front desk person. The fan and light switches weren't intuitive because there was also a remote. We texted the person responding but got no answer, so called 45 minutes later. He said to try different combinations until it worked. A little sign saying “Use the Remote, not the switch” would have helped. One bedside light was missing bulbs, so getting the overhead fan and light working mattered even more. Great option for being downtown, just expect plenty of interruption from trains at all hours.

It’s right in the middle of Jensen Beach, so getting around on foot is easy. The Inn itself is beautiful, and you can see the care that went into the renovation, right down to the details. We had a small check-in hiccup, but it was sorted out immediately. We’ll definitely stay here again next time we’re in town.

The kitchen and rooftop areas were fantastic. We stayed for three nights in 2018 and really loved the Inn.
