The residents are what make this resort special. They organize lots of activities and kindly include us, even though we’re outsiders. We first came in our RV for three weeks in 2025, returned for two months in 2026, and are already booked for another 2-1/2 months next year. It really feels like a resort, with plenty of amenities. We took one star off for the train whistles, yappy dogs, and all the RVers who aren’t part of the 55+ community.

We first came for a weekend eight years ago, and now we’ve bought a house and are staying for good. Ocean Breeze earned our trust from day one, and we still call it Paradise. It’s the cleanest, most professionally run resort we’ve stayed at, and everyone from the office staff to the groundskeepers is friendly. Customer service has been 100% on every visit. Thanks for helping us build such a great life.

The pool is gorgeous, and we liked having a dog park and wash station. Our site was well kept, with a concrete pad, picnic table, and gas grill. Walton Rocks beach is a beautiful drive away and lets dogs off leash. There’s a train behind the park that startled us at first, though it didn’t really bother us. It’s a quick drive to the beach, and we’d love to return.

We’ve brought our RV here for a few years, but each visit the service seems worse. The place itself is nice, yet management makes it hard to enjoy. Many owners live in the community, and we felt treated like intruders. At the pool, an employee asked to see our wristbands about ten times in one day, even though there were only about 20 people there and he knew we had them. He also objected whenever our kids did anything. Things got bad enough that we had an encounter with him and asked for security. Hours later, I saw him having similar encounters with several other people. Some bathrooms were out of order, and there wasn’t much to do besides stay in the camper or use the pool. I won’t come back, and I’ll keep telling the camping community we weren’t made to feel welcome.

We booked Ocean Breeze Resort in Jensen Beach almost a year ahead because of the good reviews. My family has stayed at several Sun Outdoors locations and enjoyed them, but this visit was the opposite. The grounds and restrooms were clean, but the staff ruined our stay. We were 12 people using two RV spots for a birthday, plus four guests visiting for the day. We’d checked with the front desk beforehand and were told it would be fine to buy extra wristbands if needed. At the pool, a staff member who wouldn’t give his name rudely insisted everyone needed a wristband. We’d already tried to arrange this, but he was confrontational and disrespectful toward our family. We went to the office to sort it out. The man at the desk pretended to call his manager, then said we had to rent a third RV spot to get more wristbands, so we did to avoid more trouble. Even then, the same employee came back and kept picking on our group, especially the kids, over small things while their parents were right there watching. It felt like targeted harassment and discrimination, particularly since we were the only ones in the pool. We reported it to corporate and nothing changed. A different staff member replaced the first, but the treatment continued. The atmosphere was so unpleasant that we checked out a full day early. The campground and restrooms were clean, but staff were extremely rude and unprofessional. It didn’t feel family-friendly, despite being advertised that way, and there was no effort to make guests feel welcome or relaxed. Maybe it works if you only need somewhere quiet to park and sleep, but I wouldn’t recommend it for a family vacation. Sun Outdoors needs to retrain its staff and rethink what hospitality means.
