I toured recently and couldn't wait to get out of there. One unit had just been vacated and hadn't been cleaned at all, yet they were showing it to prospective tenants. It was disgusting. In another hallway, there was a stale cigarette smell. The apartments looked old, grimy, and outdated, with accordion closet doors that didn't open or close properly. Nothing about them felt luxurious. Some one-bedroom units have carpet. I was told they usually deep clean it between tenants but don't replace it. In a dog-friendly building, they leave the carpet in place? And the rent is $3000+.

Our bulldog loved all the treats and dog-themed events. The building is genuinely pet-friendly, which was a highlight for us. The three years my dog and I lived at 225 Grand were a wonderful experience. The building is well maintained, and the staff were attentive and helpful, always treating us with kindness and respect. Huge thanks to Terry, Manny, Denisio, Joe, Marz, and Tracel for making us feel welcome every day. We really can't recommend 225 Grand enough.

The neighborhood is great, and the shared spaces are kept clean. During the two years I lived at 225 Grand, the front desk team was always friendly and helpful, and maintenance responded quickly and reliably. It's the best apartment I've lived in in Jersey City, and I recommend it to everyone.

Terry was especially helpful when we moved in and had our sofa delivered. Everyone we've met has been friendly and professional, and the refuse room stays clean and organized. We've only been here a few days, but already love the apartment. The location is quiet and feels safe, within walking distance of the PATH train. Parking is convenient, and EV charging is available for $0.25/kWh at a very reasonable rate. A great place to call home, highly recommended.
