Clarion Pointe Jesup

I was here on a work trip and found the room clean and comfortable, with staff who were professional and helpful throughout my stay. The decor feels dated, but it has a bit of a 1990s nostalgic charm. It was a suitable place to get some rest while traveling, and I’d recommend it for that.

It’s affordable, but you get what you pay for. The breakfast was mediocre, with everything frozen and taken from the refrigerator, and nobody mentioned helpful resources like how to get heavy luggage upstairs. The staff seemed lazy and paid no attention to detail. The place was very dirty, and the walls are so thin you can hear people walking upstairs from the second floor. I’m sure it carries from the first floor too. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The room itself was really nice. The rules are vague and posted on a kiosk that may not even be available to you. Management watched me in the parking lot all night while I was sitting outside, then waited outside my door when I was ready to leave. Aside from that, it was nice.

We came to Jesup Inn after evacuating Florida during hurricane Milton, and ended up staying two days. My fiance and I had expected to keep our hotel time to a minimum, based on past bad experiences, but we would have stayed longer if we’d needed to. The room was clean and nice for the price, even during a tropical storm, and it had a jetted tub beside the bed that was great for relaxing. The staff were welcoming, took good care of us, and always had a smile. Nick, who answered my call, reassured me about the situation and checked whether I enjoyed the stay. I can see Jesup Inn growing if they keep treating people this well. May God continue to bless Jesup Inn in every way possible.
