Microtel Inn & Suites By Wyndham Binghamton

We found this place right along our route to Boston, and the value was amazing. Our room was large and clean, with a little kitchenette, a privacy wall beside the bed, plenty of plugs, lots of good places to hang things, and a desktop for two. The TV worked without any fuss. Staff were friendly, and breakfast was a great little bonus. Best room for the price. Kudos to the managers and staff, thank you!

The breakfast was pretty basic, but decent. I stopped for a night while heading home from a road trip, and this was honestly the nicest hotel of the whole trip. The staff were friendly and professional. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re in the area.

The room itself was clean, and I had a good stay overall. I’d probably come back if I’m in binghamton again. There’s a microwave and mini fridge, plus cucumber water by the front desk, though it tasted like soapy water to me. The softened water also left me feeling like I couldn’t rinse the soap off. Breakfast was very limited, just bread and waffles, no eggs or bacon, and the blanket on my bed had stains. There was a strange linty towel in the bathroom for wiping makeup off, but I’d never put that near my face. Staff weren’t much help when the TV started buffering, so I had to deal with it myself.

We had a good experience on a previous stay, so we booked again for a busy weekend. Some problems came up, but CINDY at the desk was patient, kind, and helpful in getting them sorted out. Her service is why we’ll come back to Microtel.
