I found roaches in the room within the first hour. When I told the woman at the counter, she said she thought I was lying and just wanted a free stay. I went back and found more later, so I showed her photos, but nobody did anything and I was told to speak with the manager from the night before. The next day I brought her more roaches in a cup and tissue. She said, “You ain't never see a roach, what's the big deal?” My booking was nonrefundable, so I felt I had to stay or lose my money. I took pictures of everything I saw around the hotel.

I asked to see the room before checking in, as I always do, and found used towels all over the floor and a terrible musty, mildew smell. I said no and left. Later my friend returned while I was asleep, not knowing what had happened earlier, and booked another room with the same attendant. That room smelled just as bad, so my Sisterfriend and I left. They charged $140 to my card, but said they planned to refund only $120. I asked for all my money back and am watching my account. If the full amount isn't returned, I'll be letting the business know exactly what I think. If you have a strong sense of smell, don't stay here, and ask to see the room first.

The room was in rough shape. There was hair on the sheets and in the tub, the floor around the toilet was gross, and in the morning I found six pee-like stains and fresh blood on the comforter. The sheets were stained and dingy too, so I reported it to the front desk. I had never seen anything like that. We accidentally left three months' worth of insulin in the refrigerator. While we were at a local coffee shop before getting on the freeway to cross the country, the desk called us. The room cleaners had brought it down right away, and the front desk let us know quickly. That was incredibly courteous and helpful, and we're very grateful.

The employees were all welcoming and very nice. The rooms were fairly clean, though one chair looked so dirty it should have been tossed. The hotel looked a bit nicer in the photos. I didn't try the breakfast, so I can't comment on it.
