We hadn’t planned to stay at the Inn, so I can only speak to its shared spaces, not the guest rooms. My wife and I were exploring Jonesborough early, before most shops opened, when I spotted the Vacancy sign. We stepped inside out of the rain and Carol welcomed us with a smile before we’d even fully crossed the doorway. Guests were having breakfast, so she served them first, then invited us to look around, even though we were wet. Carol asked Sue to show us through, and Sue happily gave us a tour. The history and atmosphere were wonderful. Both women were warm and informative, and they made us feel like we’d woken up there as guests. Watching Carol care for the people staying there also showed her attention to service. That unexpected visit has made us want to stay at the Eureka Inn ourselves, and we’re looking forward to it.

Our first visit to the area left me wondering why we’d never come before. From the friendly greeting at the door, the stay just kept getting better. The Inn was spotless, comfortable, and full of character, but the hospitality was what stood out most. Carol welcomed my husband and me on our first night, after we’d seen a performance at the Jackson theater. She has a calming, welcoming way about her. The next morning, she served us coffee and breakfast in a beautiful dining room, and the meal was five-star. We enjoyed chatting with the other guests while Carol made sure everyone was looked after. Her staff and her lovely, well-behaved furry friends added to the experience. We’re grateful to Carol for a great weekend and will definitely return. This was our first visit. The inn was beautifully decorated for the holidays, and we enjoyed gathering with other travelers by the parlor fireplace. Carol and her staff made us feel like family. Our room was nicely appointed, with a private bath and coffee maker, and the bed was very comfortable. It was a lovely way to start our trip, and we’ll remember it fondly.

The beds in our Jury room were so comfortable, we slept amazingly well, and the historical decor was top notch. Carol and her staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating, offering local event suggestions and inviting us to dinner and other activities. The Historic Eureka Inn made for a comfortable stay, with a great breakfast in a quaint town full of things to do. I highly recommend it.
