The deck became our favorite place to have morning coffee and relax, and there's plenty of room and seating for other guests too. We loved how quiet and comfortable it was, with an incredible view. It's about half a mile from downtown Julian, so it's convenient while still feeling like a mountain getaway. There are things to do in the shared spaces, plus a lockable private room and bath. Just right. Thank you.

The owners were easy to reach and ready to sort out any issues, and the lodge felt so welcoming and spacious. It sits at the top of a mountain with a fabulous view. Very clean and tranquil, with lovely mountain decor, a big kitchen, a warm fireplace, and great amenities. We'll definitely return.

The spacious kitchen was well equipped, and the room and common areas were clean and comfortable. We had a fantastic stay at this lodge, with charming country decor throughout and a beautiful location just outside Julian, CA.

The deck looked out over the valley, with hawks, hummingbirds, and woodpeckers in the oak trees and turkeys in the fields. It was a quiet, private hideaway, so clean and peaceful. The kitchen had what was mentioned: eggs, toast, coffee, and tea. A really refreshing stay. Thanks to the staff. We'll be back!
