Guest House Inn Junction City

I liked the old-fashioned decor and the hardwood floor in my room, just a personal preference. It was very clean, and the bed was comfortable enough for me to nap after arriving at 8:30 in the morning. I'm a CDL driver and needed to be off the clock for eight hours, so I watched TV, walked two blocks for lunch, and took a bath. The town is small and a little off I-5, but Springfield and Eugene aren't too far away.

I was working nearby and stayed here for a bit. The room was a good size, clean, and cozy, and the hotel staff were very nice. There was plenty of parking, with lots of restaurants within walking distance.

On my way to the coast, I stopped here halfway through the drive. The rooms were clean, though they do need remodeling. The staff were polite and seemed concerned about us driving in the snow or ice. The shower head was the best I've ever used. Someone tried our door at about 5 a.m., so be sure to lock yours.

We had a decent four-night stay, with clean rooms and no problems. My one complaint is the towels: they're tiny and don't cover half my body. My two-year-old liked them, and they fit her well. When I asked for more, staff wanted the used ones back, so I couldn't get extras, even after asking several times. That was tricky with a toddler who can be messy at this age. We were out of power because of an ice storm, though, so in the big picture the towel shortage wasn't a major issue. I'd definitely stay again.
