We were really happy with our stay. The rooms were clean, spacious, and lovely, with plenty of room for our family of six. The grounds were nice too, and the pool area was lovely. Staff were polite and helpful, though busy, so be patient. They lend out books, puzzles, games, swim toys, noodles, snorkel gear, and more on a first-come basis. We lucked out and got an umbrella and chairs as well. Pool towels are provided, but bring your own beach towels.

The location and view are beautiful, and the place was clean. The staff were friendly too. Still, there’s a hidden tax and a separate daily charge for the air-conditioning unit, which you really need to be comfortable. I think that’s gross, just include it in the price. The place needs remodeling, though I knew that before arriving.

We own at VI, but this is still one of our favorite home resorts. It’s far enough away to get some peace and quiet on the island, yet close enough to enjoy downtown Kona. The views are amazing, the staff are friendly, and town is about a 20 minute walk.

We stayed in 2102, and the room was great and really clean. It had everything we needed, including beach towels, chairs, and an umbrella. The balcony faced the shared BBQ area, but it was very quiet. There was no A/C, though there were lots of fans and we didn't really miss it. Great sunsets too. I'd stay there again.

Really disappointing. The front desk woman was rude, unhelpful, and seemed completely uninterested in helping guests.
