We liked our VRBO, but the garage made us uneasy. Scaffolding was set up throughout, and it almost looked as if it was holding up the building. Parking was very tight, and getting to the garage by elevator required a key, even though you could walk down the ramp to the cars without any security. None of this was disclosed when we rented our VRBO. It seemed kind of suspect.

The place is a good bargain, with lots of fun within walking distance and a partial ocean view from the lanai. It's older and small, but the amenities work well. The church next door is pretty and historic. Expect some noise in this mixed-use residential building. I'd definitely come back. There was lots of parking on the upper level. The bed frame banged my knee enough to keep me on my toes, and there were plenty of locks, keys, and codes!
We booked a second-floor, one-bedroom condo through Priceline for four nights, with one free underground parking space. It was quiet and comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped, with delicious ground coffee for four pots. There was a washer and dryer and plenty of amenities, including beach towels and sand chairs. The large lanai was the best part, with a couch and small table for four, overlooking a church, tall plumeria hedges, and singing birds.
We lived here for a year, then decided to move to a newer condo. The parking garage leaks water everywhere, and with the pool's weight above it, I think it's only a matter of time before the garage caves in.
The buildings look like they could fall in. When we were just sitting in the pool, some older renters or owners yelled that we were loud and annoying. We got out, then they swam up and down vigorously and viciously, with what felt like malicious intent. I took my kids and left. As we tried to get away from their attack, they surrounded me and chanted, "Grow up lil thunder thigh boy" and "Get your kids a real father."
