The one issue was that the living room's portable AC didn't work, but we were out so much that the room had cooled down nicely by the time we got back in the evenings. We stayed here for half our trip on the Kona side of the Big Island and enjoyed it completely. The kitchen had all we needed, and the poolside grills look out over the ocean. The master bedroom had a portable AC. Across the street there's great surfing, and a lovely sandy beach is just a few yards down the road. Excellent accommodations, I'd recommend it.

We were in unit 1 in the main building, and it looked just as beautiful as the photos. Bob, the owner, is responsive and clearly takes pride in the place. You can hear some traffic, but it wasn't especially noticeable, even while we sat on the lanai. The view is superb and the location fantastic. We'd stay again if we come back to the area. There are lots of photos of the unit, so I added one looking toward it from the beach.

Bob, the owner, was attentive and quick to respond, and a great guy all around. We stayed at Kona Seaspray and the adjacent Kona Reef, and both units we saw were gorgeous, clean, and spacious. Parking was conveniently right by each one. The location is ideal, right on ali-drive but at the quieter end, so evenings felt peaceful. I'd definitely stay again.

Loved this area. You can get to the beach in just a few steps, and the snorkeling is pretty good. Rent some gear on the way down. It's also got the best spots for watching sunrise and sunset.

We loved our stay in unit 302, especially how close it is to the beach. My wife, daughter, and I enjoyed sitting on the lanai, watching the surfers while eating fruit and having a beer. You can see the view from there, or through the huge glass window and sliding doors inside, and hear the waves crash. The pool is very nice, with places to sit all around it and a couple of barbecues to use. Great location.
