Studios are available on Airbnb, and the spot is great for walking to the pier and into town. The parking lot steps on the way into town are ill maintained. Residents pay monthly HOA and land lease fees, and the land lease expires in a few years.

I've visited Kona and the island several times, and this studio was the best value for money I've found. It had an ocean view, and Ali'i drive was a two minute walk away. The location also worked perfectly for getting around by car. I got a really good deal, and this is going to be my new home away in Hawaii.

A small pool is just right for cooling off after a walk, and you can walk to anything from this location. The condos are studios with a nice little lanai overlooking the ocean and cruise ship. I've stayed twice now. Really, what more do you need?

The location is good, but the photos on Travelocity were misleading. We had to move furniture to pull out the Murphy Bed, and the screen door was a pain to open. It would've been easier to overlook if the owner had been more understanding instead of rudely telling us it was our fault for booking the place. Better photos should have been posted.
