A jellyfish incident sent me to the hospital, and later in the trip there was a tsunami warning. The staff responded quickly and were exceptionally accommodating through both situations. They were so friendly that we hope to make this our regular family vacation spot.

The room was tidy and really clean. I was surprised to find beach chairs, an umbrella, boogie boards, and even a pack-n-play in the bedroom closet for us to use during the week. I've never had a resort provide those things for free before. The service felt personal, and the accommodations were great. It's a little old, but well kept.

It's an easy place to stay again if I'm in Kona. The grounds are cared for, and everyone on staff I spoke with was friendly and helpful. Restaurants, bars, and shops are walkable if you're able, though the timeshare parking lot is uphill, lol. The rooms are a bit dated and this isn't the fanciest spot on the village strip, but it's good for what it is.

The room was extremely clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Rates are very reasonable, and the location is excellent, across from the ocean and close to shops, restaurants, and coffee shops. I loved the pool, Weber bbqs, and the ping pong table was a nice touch. I had a great stay and look forward to returning every year.

The property is well kept and in a nice location, but the rooms are dated and didn't suit us well. We found roaches in the bedding and stayed only one of our 14 nights. By day two, we'd found somewhere else. I wouldn't recommend it.
