We booked a two-bedroom Airbnb at the Waikoloa Beach Villas, and there was plenty of room for our family of four. The villa and its lush, well-maintained grounds were beautiful. Queens Marketplace is just across the street, an easy walk away. It has a market, fast food spots, shaved ice, Romano's Macaroni Grill, a movie theater, and other shops.

Waikoloa Beach Villas is a great base for exploring the Waikoloa Resort area, and we’ll come back. The nearby Waikoloa Fairway Villas are just a stone’s throw away. A heads-up: the complex has only one entrance and exit through the main gate, with a lava moat around it. The Hilton Pool pass was underwhelming. Unless you have a gazillion kids and want a pool with no shade or service, I don’t think it’s worth it.

At Condo J2, the beds and sheets were very comfortable, and the artwork gave the place personality and made it feel like home. We also got good value, especially with garage parking for our rental car. The kitchen had new appliances and lots of room to cook, and outside there was a BBQ grill where we could enjoy meals in the sun with friends and family. There were plenty of useful amenities, including boogie boards, which made time at the beach more fun. We also had a pass for easy access to the Hilton pool. The condo exceeded my expectations, and I’d recommend it for a comfortable and convenient Waikoloa Beach Villas stay.
