The rooms and grounds are nice, with two pools, though only one has a hot tub. We wouldn’t stay again or recommend it for families with young kids. The pools are about the only thing for children, yet they didn’t feel kid friendly. At 3 pm on a Sunday during Christmas break, our five-year-old was shushed for playing in the pool, even though they weren’t being loud. There’s nothing within walking distance. No markets, restaurants, bars, or non-private beaches within 1.5 miles, whatever the maps suggest, and not even a vending machine on site. There’s no playground either. There was no front office or anyone to talk to about problems. If a gate code failed or you forgot it, nobody answered, and the codes were different from the ones we’d received before arrival. You also need a code to leave the pools. The front gate was left unlocked on nine of our ten days, so the place didn’t feel very secure.

The pool felt more like a quiet residential compound than a place for kids to enjoy themselves. In the middle of the day, the pool tenant kept scolding our kids for making noise while they were having fun. Laughing and showing joy seemed unwelcome. There was also no walkway between the parking area and our unit, or from the porch to the pool, so we had to circle back along the main road or cut through the garden. Our unit had several lights without working bulbs. The price was good, but expect some issues.

It was clean and very well maintained, and the resort property made a fantastic luxury home base for a stay on Hawaii. This is the glamorous side of Hawaii, though not an authentic experience of the islands. You gotta explore real Hawaii.

Food was good, and the villas are beautiful, right next to hilton hotel. Visitors who book these villas get free parking and entry to the hilton swimming pool.

The villa had plenty of room for our family of five, but it was very dirty. We hadn't booked this location originally. After a maintenance issue at another place, Resortica moved us here, and although communication was good, we were disappointed to have to settle for it. The small refund covered maybe a couple of meals. We'd suggest staying somewhere else.
