Kanab was a lovely quiet base, with easy drives to Zion, Bryce Canyon, Coral Pink Sand Dunes, and Page AZ. There were plenty of nice trails along the way, too. We were really happy with the hotel. The room was clean, roomy, and comfortable. I liked how the desk separated the beds from the couch, so we could sit and relax while our little one slept. Breakfast was delicious, and we didn’t need to ask for anything. We’ll definitely be back.

We spent a week here and would happily choose it again when we’re in town. The front desk folks gave us good suggestions for places to eat and trails to hike, and the staff were fantastic in general. Easy to get to, good location, and the gym, pool, and spa were all great.

Breakfast was a real highlight, better than we expected and handy for getting an early start toward Zion. Kanab itself is quiet and doesn’t have many dining choices, but this hotel makes a great stop between Bryce and Zion. Of the three hotels on our trip, this was the most comfortable stay. The newer property was clean and well kept, and our room felt modern, nicely designed, and a bit luxurious for this kind of hotel. There’s no kitchenette, but the layout gave us plenty of space. After long days driving and sightseeing, it was a great place to unwind. We’d definitely stay here again.

I slept really well, and breakfast in the morning was great. They had the usual Springhill options, like waffles, oatmeal, yogurt, cereal, eggs, sausage, toast, and bagels. I didn’t try the facilities, so I’ll have something to check out next time. This Springhill Suites is brand new. I noticed a few upgrades in this version: a bigger study area and bathroom, plus a walk-in closet for luggage, clothes, and ironing. The bathroom nightlight is built in, and the bedside lamps are better integrated.

My only suggestion is to rethink the parking and walkways outside. Park straight out and you have to go all the way around an iron fence to reach the hotel. Parking at the side has similar access hassles. It should be an easy fix and would make things better. We stayed one night while passing through. The fairly new property shows its age, or lack of it, in the rooms, hallways, and breakfast area. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, check-in was quick and easy, and there was plenty of hot water and shower pressure. Breakfast had lots of tasty hot and cold choices.
