It’s a beautiful historic building, decorated nicely, and my room had a nice view. The rooms and facilities were very clean and comfortable. I appreciated being able to do laundry with quarters, and the complimentary cookies downstairs were quite good. The tram, restaurants, and attractions are all a short walk away. Everyone at the front desk was polite and helpful. The elevator is a bit slow, though that’s not surprising in an old building. There are two elevators, and I usually prefer the stairs anyway. I’d definitely stay here again.

The breakfast was great, with several hot and cold choices in a lovely dining area. The hotel was in a safe location and had parking. Our room was very clean and refreshed every day. The staff were helpful and friendly, especially the young woman at the front desk, who was especially kind. I highly recommend the place and will stay here next time I’m in KC. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

I’ve stayed at the Holiday many times on work trips, and the helpful, professional, friendly staff, clean rooms, and reliable breakfast keep bringing me back. There are lots of breakfast choices, including delicious cinnamon rolls. The downside is getting around: the one-way streets can send you in circles. Parking has gone up to $25 a day, and the lot is rather small. Even so, it’s still one of the best downtown hotels in downtown KCMO.

Our first night in the room was cold, but staff quickly helped the next morning by bringing us a space heater. They were very friendly and responded quickly to what we needed. The hotel isn’t quiet because of the location near a police station, and we heard sirens all night.

The staff were so nice when we stayed here last November. It’s a really nice hotel, and the beds were the best part, so comfortable. I’d love to know the brand and model they use on the second floor. If anyone from the hotel can get back to me about the beds, I’d really appreciate it.
