Honokeana Cove 103 1 Bedroom Condo

It's a very welcoming, familiar-feeling place, and the staff are awesome. The cove feels like paradise for snorkeling: the water is calm, underwater visibility is perfect, and you can find turtles there almost any time. The condos are simple but well equipped. The only thing missing is A/C.

It's a quiet spot that seems mostly geared toward older couples, with strict quiet hours at bedtime. Kids may find it tough because ball throwing and roughhousing aren't allowed. There's a sandy beach a short walk away, while the cove itself has a rocky shoreline that's tricky to get in and out of. Sea turtles are usually around and often sun themselves on the rocks. The development is small and two stories tall. Each condo has a separate owner, but they're rented through one onsite management center. The lanais face the cove and ocean, and we spend a lot of time reading and watching from ours. There's a full kitchen with utensils and dishes, a TV, and gas grills at the front of the cove. We love this place.

Clean and well maintained, in a convenient part of West Maui. A great place to stay and swim with turtles.

We counted 12 turtles at one point while snorkeling at this amazing spot, which has access to some of the island's best turtle snorkeling. Everyone was super friendly, and I'd absolutely stay here again.
