Kapalua Golf Villas 19t67, Lahaina

Really comfortable and tidy, with bright colors and ocean views. This is the nicest Airbnb I've stayed in for a while.

We love this place. We've been staying here every year for fifteen years.

The views from the living room through the wall-to-wall glass and out to the back patio were fantastic, and we loved watching the sunsets and seeing Molokai from the coastal trail. We stayed in unit 30G2, where the landscaping gave us privacy even though the trail ran just outside the backyard. Kapalua Bay and three other beaches were all within walking distance. The unit had fresh, clean bedding and towels, beach gear, a comfortable primary bed, and a couch that converts to a sofa bed. The shower was spacious and there were plenty of towel hooks. Families with little ones would have a pack-n-play and mini high chair available. They'd also left toiletries, dish soap and a sponge, Tide pods and dryer sheets. We had the utensils we needed to cook meals and could pack light thanks to the in-unit washer and dryer. The folded beach towels shaped like sea crabs and the tissue arranged as flower petals were sweet touches, and there was a box of Hawaiian chocolates as a welcome gift. Parking was only a few steps from the front door and one of the pools. The Honolua store is about a five-minute drive away, a bit like an ABC store but better. I've stayed at other KMB villas in Maui and Oahu, and they always deliver. The gate and door codes were convenient, with no key cards to keep track of, and check-in and checkout were seamless. I'd stay at a KBM villa again and recommend one for a relaxing home away from home.

We stayed in 15G5, managed by Parrish Maui Collection, and it was just as good as the photos. The bedroom view was why I chose it, and it really was the best. The villa sits on the top row, so there wasn't much foot traffic by the pool path on the right. The blinds also helped without making the place feel closed in. The pool was great, and there was a shower to rinse off after the beach, plus a barbecue for dinner. The kitchen was well stocked, and they left a pineapple gift and reusable grocery bag. The host had boogie boards and chairs too, which saved us about $150 in rental costs for the week. You can walk to The Montage in 10 minutes, Merrimans in 12, or Sea House in 15. Napili bay is 15 minutes away, Kapalua Bay Beach is 12, and Oneloa Beach is five minutes down the hill stairs between Villas 20/21. I'll be back to this villa as often as I can.
