Napili Point C-12

The oceanfront view was amazing, and it’s a shame the accommodations were so dated. On our first night, a shower pipe burst. My husband had to get under the sink and shut the water off while it sprayed him in the face, leaving him drenched. If he hadn’t known how, the condo could have flooded. Not how we wanted to spend the first night after traveling all day. Housekeeping cleaned up, and they let us use another unit while they repaired it, which was inconvenient. We also dealt with quite a few cockroaches. The sofa bed mattress was badly worn, with springs you could see and feel, and our kids woke up with backaches each morning. The condos need upgrades. I raised these problems with management, but they did nothing to compensate us, saying we’d already gotten a good rate. We won’t be back. It’s a beautiful location, but who wants to pay thousands of dollars and kill roaches every day?

Donna gave us her Local Girl’s Guide to Maui, and we used it often to find places to rent gear and eat. It had everything we needed for the trip. Our family of eight booked two condos at Napili Point through Donna Bender of MauiCalls, and they worked perfectly for us. The ocean point view was breathtaking, and falling asleep and waking to the waves was unforgettable. Both condos were right by turtle cove and napili bay, great for swimming and snorkeling. We can’t wait to book the same place next year.

Our family of eight stayed in two condos at Napili Point, and it was incredible. The rooms were gorgeous, clean, and had amazing views, and the staff were attentive. The condos are right on the point. Most in this area have direct access to napili beach, but for ours, the easiest route was along the main road to the public access.
