I didn’t actually stay at the Home2 Suites by Hilton in Kearney because a severe storm made it impossible to get there. I called to explain, even though I was already past the cancellation deadline, and Emad at the front desk kindly let me cancel without a penalty. He was professional, understanding, and very helpful when I was stressed. That service made a strong impression, and if it reflects how the rest of the hotel is run, I’ll stay there next time I’m in Kearney. Highly recommend.

Will and Lexie checked us in last night, and Alexis checked us out this morning. All three were gracious, professional, and kind. The hotel was so clean I wondered if anyone had even stayed in our room. The beds were good, and the free breakfast was great: a pancake machine that made them right in front of you, waffles, biscuits and gravy, and fresh breads and pastries. The pantry was stocked like a convenience store, including healthy items. They even gave our pet Blue buffalo dog biscuits. There’s an arcade for us nerds, plus a great gym and pool. It’s near the sports complex. I’d happily stay a few days and chill here. If they also had a masseuse and someone to do mani/pedis, I’d make it a destination, lol.

We didn’t hear a thing from I-80, even though this brand new Hilton property is just off the highway. The room was spacious, the beds were comfortable, and breakfast was free and quite good.

This hotel is less than a year old, and it’s amazing. It has all the amenities and a fantastic breakfast included. The staff are considerate, helpful, and very professional. Staying here restored my faith in the Hilton quality I’ve come to expect.

What a gem. They seem to have thought of everything when they built the place. Breakfast was as good as crackle barrel, wow. I’ll definitely come back. Wish all hotels were like this.
