Courtyard by Marriott Keene Downtown

Scott, the bar, bistro, and cafe manager, made this stay feel personal. By our first night he knew our names, and he went out of his way whenever we asked for something. His friendly conversation, local pride, and hospitality gave the place a small-town feel. We started calling him “The Inn Keeper,” since he brought a boutique inn’s welcome to a familiar, dependable Marriott setting. My husband and I stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott in Keene during a holiday visit with family. I grew up in Keene and my parents still live nearby, but this time we stayed at the hotel and were glad we did. It was fun to see our hometown like a tourist. We’ve been to plenty of Courtyards by Marriott, and this one met the Marriott standard. It was spotless, the amenities were up to date, and service was consistently warm and professional. The bistro, bar, and cafe on site were convenient places to unwind, eat, or have a drink. We’ll stay again when we visit Keene and recommend the Courtyard for business or pleasure. It covers a lot of needs, and the staff really lift the experience.

Check-in was easy, the hotel was clean, and the location was great. The warm cookies are a nice touch, and I love the Starbucks and breakfast area in the lobby. Scott was lovely when he got me my morning coffee, and everyone was friendly.

I’m here several times a year, and it’s reassuring to have a comfortable place to return to at the end of the day. The hotel is clean and quiet, and downtown is perfectly placed for exploring. The staff are welcoming, especially Scott in the bistro. The rooms are a little dated, but they’re still clean and comfortable. I’d recommend staying here for a trip to the area.

We were here for a destination wedding, and everyone at the front desk and bistro was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, with a nice mountain view. The little shop by the desk came in handy, and the cookies were top notch. I needed scissors for my outfit, and someone at the front desk searched for a pair they thought was good enough. That was so kind and saved the outfit. Noon checkout was just what we needed, and leaving was easy. Thank you!
