Clear Lake Vista Resort

We sat on the patio overlooking the lake, with cold beer served in frosty mugs. The staff were welcoming and really attentive. The burger was one of the best I've had in ages, thick, juicy, hot, and made with freshly ground local beef right there at the restaurant. We also got the ultimate beef dip. It was packed with beef, cheese, and mushrooms, but the beef still came through clearly. The sandwich tasted rich without being overwhelmed, and the dip itself was clean and very beefy. You can tell it's made from scratch.

The ultimate French dip was delicious, definitely worth trying, and our waitress was lovely. It's a cozy place to stop for lunch, though breakfast wraps up at 11. We tried coming once before on a Monday, shortly after it opened, but it was closed. Compliments to the chef.

Our kids, who are 9 and 5, love it here and feel like they have lots of freedom. The resort has a strong 90s feel, and it even gets you curious about Clear Lake history. The lake view is amazing, parking is plentiful, and we've managed fine with a Suburban pulling a full trailer. Staff are really nice. Rooms are rustic, comfortable enough, and have the basics covered.

The lake view is breathtaking, and our family would live here if we could. The grounds are kept tidy, and the rooms are clean and well maintained. Staff really stand out, especially the housekeepers, who are polite and respectful and make sure you have what you need. Toiletries get replaced, and the towels are clean, without the stains you see at many hotels. We highly recommend it to friends and family for any time of year.
