Lunch in the tavern overlooking the ice rink was lovely, and we also enjoyed coffee and cookies in the living room. The location was wonderful, and everyone we met was friendly and helpful. It's an old building, so the shower was small and there weren't many electrical outlets. We didn't mind, though some travelers might find that uncomfortable. The hotel was great overall.

A major blizzard hit during our first visit to the Inn, but the whole staff looked after our needs. Mary, Deb, Angela, and last but not least the amazing Chef Adrian were all wonderful. It was a truly great experience, and we plan to return soon.

The bar and dining area turned out to be a great surprise. It had a lovely atmosphere, a nice view of the skating rink, and excellent food and drinks. We ended up spending three hours there! Our room was cozy, and we liked having the front parlor as a place to chat with a friend who came to visit. We'll definitely book again.

We left and stayed somewhere else that night after finding our room visibly dirty and clearly not ready for incoming guests. When we immediately reported it to the front desk, the manager and owner offered no solution or apology. They just said “ok.” It's disappointing to see such a beautiful property poorly maintained and the problem handled with no professionalism or accountability. Based on this experience, I wouldn't recommend staying here.

Mary at the front desk was charming and had lots of useful local information. There's plenty of parking, and the inn is right in the middle of town, handy for walking and shopping. It's an old-fashioned place with a tavern and lots of character. The rooms have a European style along with modern amenities. If you want to step back in time and have a great stay, don't miss this inn.
