Suburban Extended Stay (Kennesaw)

I had a paid reservation and arrived to check in at 9 p.m., but nobody was at the desk. A number was posted, and after a few tries someone answered at 9:30. The sign said to allow 30 minutes, so that part was okay. Then the woman told me she was all the way in Atlanta and would take an hour to get back. I said I'd call again at 10:30, but she said she still hadn't left and needed another hour. At 11:30 she couldn't say when she'd return. It was strange that someone meant to be at the desk was an hour away. I couldn't check in despite already paying. The whole thing was unprofessional, and I want my money back for the time I wasted.

There was noise all the time, and the walls are really thin. We also found cockroaches in our room during the first week, and they don't have Wi-Fi. Really unfortunate.

Very bad, especially for the price. My son and I stopped here to rest, but the door under the sink in our room was broken off, and there wasn't any soap for washing up. The front desk was closed, so we couldn't get help then. I brought it up in the morning, but they said there was nothing they could do. I asked for some kind of compensation since we didn't have what we needed and had a broken door in the room. I'll upload a picture. Really bad hotel, I don't recommend staying here.

The beds were comfortable, and the hotel was peaceful. I've been a GM in the hotel industry, and I was impressed by how thorough and precise the cleaning team is. The building has aged, or as I might say, it has some history with the foundation, but it's been well maintained. Great work by the staff and management. A good place for either a short or long stay.
