Red Lion Hotel Kennewick Columbia Center

I’m still here for my last night, but I’ve booked another nearby hotel. I came to see my grandbabies for Xmas, and after dealing with all this, the ice was the final straw. I asked the front desk for some for my cooler so I wouldn’t have to buy anything else. They said the only ice was for catering, in the back, and they couldn’t give me any. I’m furious and plan to contact their corp off8ce. The bathroom sink fills up and takes forever to drain. The toilet needs several flushes to get toilet paper down, and the fridge in my room doesn’t work, so I bought a cooler and kept buying ice. Then, while I was showering with shampoo in my hair and soap on me, the water shut off. The desk told me all the guests had been notified the day before. Oh really? Where was that memo sent? This is the worst place to stay. Unless you’re really desperate for a hotel, go to the Holiday Inn up the road or somewhere else. It’s not worth the problems. Their replies to earlier bad reviews are the usual BS with no real solutions. An apology isn’t enough when they’ve been told about issues and months later they’re still there. This is probably a franchise; no real corp would let these problems continue while still taking people’s hard-earned money. I’m so pissed.

I haven’t rented a room here, but the lobby and foyer looked clean. The front desk wasn’t much help and was a little rude. I put it down to the early hour and figured they weren’t a morning person.

The hotel itself is great, but the food was absolutely disgusting. I don’t even know where to start with the service. A woman with long green hair kept going on about her personal life. I get that we all have problems, but this was insane.

The guy at the front desk was creepy and hit on my wife right in front of me. The rooms were dated, and both the hallways and rooms smelled like an old ashtray. Breakfast wasn’t decent either. There are plenty of better places to stay nearby. We won’t be back.
