Hampton Inn & Suites Kenosha Pleasant Prairie

My family came by to see me at the hotel and were impressed by the lobby and my roomy, cozy suite. We hung out there for a while before heading to dinner. Afterward, I got a great night's sleep. Everyone on staff was warm and friendly, and breakfast was great too. I'll definitely come back.

The room was really clean, and there were cookies by the entrance! I was too busy sleeping to try the pool. There weren't many blankets, and I couldn't find a bathroom fan, so it got humid when people showered. The elevator buttons were tough to press, and our window looked out onto a roof. Breakfast was delicious, though.

I want to recognize the team here, who were professional, attentive, and excellent. My concern is with the decisions made across the Hilton brand and by property owners, rather than with this hotel itself. Those choices seem to be gradually reducing the experience that once earned guest loyalty. I'm a longtime Hilton customer, with more than 20 years of business travel behind me, and I'm getting close to Diamond status. I remember being able to wind down after work in a pool or spa, or have an early coffee poolside before heading out. Some properties even offered extended or round-the-clock access, which helped when work started early or ended late. Now spa and pool facilities seem to be disappearing, and the hours at places that still have them can be so restricted they're hardly useful. I understand that owners face cost pressures, but it's disappointing to see these amenities steadily diminish. Room service has changed in a similar way. Daily housekeeping used to be standard, and coming back to a made bed, fresh towels, and a clean room felt like part of Hilton hospitality, even at moderately priced hotels. I'm sharing this as a loyal guest who has kept choosing Hilton for work trips. I hope the brand will return to the service standards and amenities that used to distinguish it. This isn't a complaint about the staff at this property.

We felt at ease here, and the convenient location meant everything we needed was on site or nearby. Our room was comfortable, clean, and well looked after. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and genuinely helpful from arrival through checkout. It was a wonderful stay, and we'd gladly return and recommend the hotel.
