The staff were consistently helpful and courteous, and several times they checked whether I needed anything. That made a difference for me, and is why I gave the stay four stars. I was there for work, had plenty of outlets, and could use the small business center and conference room. Coffee and hot water were available around the clock, and staff were happy to refill the hot water. My work group was satisfied with the accommodations, and I was treated well. There’s a pool and a few other small amenities, including things kids would enjoy. The property is generally well kept, security patrols regularly, and I had no cleanliness problems. A guest spilled coffee in the elevator; staff responded promptly, though the floor stayed wet because they kept the elevator in service. I also noticed some things left under furniture, probably because they were turning rooms over quickly. There were no bedbugs, kissing bugs, or lingering cigarette smells, though some guests smelled strongly of marijuana. Given the area, I suppose that can happen. The fitness room was basically treadmills, which is about what I’d expect. The main issue was noise. The rooms badly need soundproofing: you can hear conversations and traffic from the busy road outside. I was next door to another person on my team, so we sometimes disturbed each other while on calls. They offered me another room or somewhere else to work, but I didn’t want to be a bother over a minor issue. I’d look for a quieter option next time, but if price mattered, I’d stay again. The Wi-Fi is slow, so plan to pay a few dollars a day for faster access or use a hotspot. Breakfast could be improved too. The containers are too small: after two or three people have cereal, there’s no milk. The hot food was decent, but portions were small and the items weren’t spaced out. The location is handy for nearby businesses and travelers who don’t want to pay the much higher airport-area prices.
