River Trail Cottages

If you're attending the Easter Bike Tour, these cottages are a good spot: the trail to the start is 1 miles away, so you can bike there. We've stayed here for several years and enjoyed the updated feel, the location, and the river running by the property. There's a lovely trail just outside the cabin for walking the dog, and the property staff were quick to respond when we needed something. I'd highly recommend River Trail Cottages!

We booked for a month while helping with the community's relief efforts, but had to check out after two weeks. They wouldn't refund the unused time. They also raised the price because we didn't stay the full month, and kept our money. On top of that, they charge an extra $50 a week for cleaning. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The location is right by the water, with an incredible view, and it's close to town and the rest of the hill country. There were other people staying in the lodges, but our cottage remained quiet and private. I booked it for our honeymoon and loved the design. When I had a question, I could call or text the manager, who responded quickly. I'll definitely come back when we make the trip up.

During the Kerville Triathlon Festival, we've stayed here several years. It's close to everything but still peaceful by the river. It's also great that several families can stay in one place while each having a private cabin.
