The pool and hot tub were clean and heated, and there was a nice little beach nearby. You can walk to Old Town in about 20 minutes. Still, we left very disappointed and would advise caution. We paid $515 a night for a small third-floor attic suite in an old house. The bathroom took about five minutes of running water to get hot. Our bed backed onto the kitchen wall of the next room, so we could hear everything happening there. There were no views, just a noisy street and parking garage, despite the booking photos making it look like the rooms had good views.

We've owned at CBR for 34 years and still love it so much we'd live here if we could. We always look forward to seeing Rita and Ksusha at the front desk, and we recently met Jodi, who has a beautiful smile.

Rita was expecting us and greeted us with so much friendliness and help. Joel also went above and beyond to keep the property looking pristine. Coconut Beach Resort suited us perfectly. We loved the ocean view, the pool and hot tub, and the rooms. Having a garage for parking was great, too.

We needed this vacation, and the privacy here was just what we wanted. We could get to everything without being far away, but having a beach right at the property is hard to find in Key West. We'll be back.

The balcony was a lovely place to catch the sunset, and the resort sits right by the beach. It's a cute, family-friendly spot, just a few blocks from the southernmost point. We'd come back.
