Smallest Bar Inn

You can barely fit more than a few people inside The Smallest Bar in Key West, FL, it’s about the size of a walk-in closet, but that’s part of the fun. The bartender is close by, and the mood is friendly and light. We ended up chatting with strangers and could easily have made new friends. The drinks are straightforward but good: cold beer, margaritas, mojitos, and classic tropical cocktails served with a smile. It’s a fun place to pause for a laugh and a drink while exploring Old Town, bar hopping on Duval, or waiting for sunset at Mallory Square. Tucked between two buildings on Duval Street, it really lives up to its name while still delivering a full sized experience. There’s something very Key West about its laid-back, offbeat character. Small in size, big in personality.

The key lime pie shots were tasty, but ask Scott for a Pineapple Upside-down Cake shot too. He’s a bomb bartender, and you won’t be disappointed. Definitely add this stop to your Key West bucket list.

We stopped in twice while visiting KW, and both bartenders were great. Give Josh a hard time, he’s a fun guy!

The atmosphere was amazing and the conversation was exquisite. At the smallest bar in Key West, I had fabulous Keylime pie shots. Charlie makes an absolutely phenomenal shot. Thank you, Charlie.
