We were treated well, and the room was clean and comfortable when we visited in March, 2014. It had cable TV, a small refrigerator, enough space, and somewhere to hang clothes. Duval St. is close, as is a nice restaurant a little over a block to the left of the motel. We’d go back. My one request would be coffee in the room since we get up early and the office doesn’t open for it very early. Thankfully, the restaurant was open by 8:00 a.m.

We were only in the room for a few hours, but it was clean, inexpensive, and the pool was maintained. It suited us. We prefer simpler, laid-back stays and places that feel less touristy than a resort. If you're after a spoiled rich experience, this probably isn't the place for you.
