The BBL's location is its one real plus. The room furniture is worn out, with a sagging couch and chairs that are falling apart, and the beds feel just as neglected. The mattresses seemed poor quality to begin with and like they hadn't been replaced in 20 years. There's also a single tiny elevator for the whole building, and it moves painfully slowly. Check-out is at 10 AM, while check-in isn't until 4. Before, our room key let us keep using the garage and common area after checkout, but this time we were told that if we wanted to ski Keystone, we'd need to move our car to the free public lot. For what the room costs, we'd rather drive in from Breck. The accommodations and EVERYTHING are better there. We tried :(

Being so close to the village gondola was probably the best part of renting here. The owners were very kind, too. They let my family and me keep a room key after checkout so we could get into the garage after boarding on our last vacation day. The place had plenty of space, with a bedroom and a pull-out bed in the living room. The kitchen was roomy enough and had a microwave, stove, dishwasher, and big refrigerator. There were lots of board games, though the Scrabble set was missing some tiles. The fireplace was easy to use and warmed the room a little. My family and I would rent here again!

It works, and you really can't get any closer to the lift, but the place feels tired. The drawers are loose, and the blind toppers on two windows are coming off. The whole unit looks worn and outdated. The owners should put some care into it for their customers.

The condo is near both the lifts and all the places to eat, and the hot tub is a decent size and kept at a consistent temperature. It can get expensive, though. I'd try to book privately and as far ahead as you can, since that should save you a lot.
