Condominiums in Keystone

We had a spacious condo, and being right in front worked fine. The issue was the music playing from 8:30am to 8:30pm. It got annoying when we were inside, especially since in summer you want to open the windows in the mountains. The screen was missing from our main bedroom window, and maintenance never fixed it. One elevator also stayed out of order for the whole week.

Our room wasn't ready until around 6pm, even though check-in was at 4pm. We had booked for just one night, arrived at 8am, and were told they'd call if early check-in became possible. I called at 2:30 and it still wasn't ready, then called again at 4. The person who helped me sounded annoyed and spoke demeaningly, saying the room wasn't clean and we'd have to wait. There was no apology or offer to make things right. We had followed up through the day and still lost the time we'd paid for, from 4pm to 10am the next morning. Customer service seemed frustrated that we called again after check-in time, rather than concerned about the delay. I was excited to stay close to the mountain and spend the day at Keystone, but this experience was ridiculous. I'd recommend staying somewhere else.

We stayed for a wedding in September 2015, and I'd gladly come back. The rooms were great, the shops were cool, and the area was breathtaking. There wasn't snow while we were there, but the drive through the area was beautiful.

Silvermill was right in town and just a short walk from the Keystone gondola. Our room had a king bed, a pullout for sleeping, and a small kitchen that covered what we needed. After skiing, the hot tubs were great, and we also had fun at the pool table during downtime. I'd recommend staying here. I did wonder what was in the mineshaft room. I passed it every day, but it was always locked.
