The building is older but well maintained, and we found the room and bed comfortable. The staff we met were pleasant and welcoming, even though they couldn't go against policy on some of the issues we raised. Still, we wouldn't return. We paid full price and got a two-star experience, which was especially disappointing on our wedding anniversary after expecting something like other four-star hotels we'd stayed at. During our two-night stay, they wouldn't clean the room unless we paid an extra $20 because we were there for two nights instead of three, on top of the resort fees, parking, and nightly rate. The indoor hot tub was closed for cleaning on Saturday, a peak day, and we only found out after reaching the spa, though we'd planned our day around using it. Breakfast at the hotel restaurant was also a problem: both sandwiches had cold meat and egg frozen in the middle, and the pancakes were burnt on one side. The shower water stayed lukewarm throughout our stay at a ski resort in the mountains. Luckily it wasn't too cold that weekend, so we got by.

We stay here every year for 3 to 4 months. The place is always clean, and the staff are super friendly. There are themed rooms, a weight room, a Jacuzzi, and hot tubs. The maintenance crew is amazing too. When the hot tubs go down, they seem to get them fixed almost right away.

The rooms are roomy, modern, and well equipped, and the resort had everything we needed. A free shuttle takes you to the nearby village, and there's a café with good coffee so you can start the day without leaving the hotel. There are lots of things to do at the resort and around the village. Staff were really nice and helpful with suggestions for the area. I had a really nice stay and will come back when I visit keystone again.

At best, I'd give it 3 stars. The front desk woman was polite, and the driver who picked us up once was pretty cool. We didn't use the pool or hot tub. We booked the hotel for its advertised shuttle to the lifts, but of the four times we tried, three times we were told to use the bus because they didn't have time, with only one guy doing the lifts. The one time we did get a ride, we waited almost an hour. The room smelled odd, there was black mold above the shower, and the shower sprayed water horribly. The furniture and doors were badly chipped. If you're counting on the hotel shuttle to get elsewhere, be aware they're understaffing it.
