Lifeside Condos ROCK!! It’s a short, scenic walk to the Mountain House Base Area, with the Peru and Discovery Chair Lifts nearby. The East and West Mountain House Parking Lots both make it easy to catch a bus to River Run Village and beyond. This place is a real gem...❄️🏂❄️

The location is great, and we really liked the warm pool and hot tub after skiing. We stayed at 301 liftside, managed by Vacasa. The building’s a little older, has a strange layout, and most units don’t have an elevator. It’s next to a bar, and one night dogs barked on the deck until 10 PM. Another night, very loud drunk people were outside until after 11 PM. Even with that noise, I can recommend the unit we stayed in for a larger group. It has plenty of space, four Queen beds, and two queen sleeper sofas. The kitchen isn’t well stocked, but we could work around that.

We were in a one-bedroom unit in the separate building across the pool. The full-size kitchen was roomy, and we didn’t mind that the furnishings and unit were older. But there was a musty smell, and hot water leaked from one of the bathroom sink valves. I’d suggest condo management provide a luggage cart so people can move their bags from the parking area to the condo.

I rented a third-floor place through Seymour Lodging, with a great mountain and lift view. There’s a pool table upstairs, the wifi worked well, and it was quiet enough to work remotely away from the city bustle. It had three bedrooms, a full kitchen and living room, plus lots of TVs with Netflix and internet.

The unit was dated but comfortable, and it was good value compared with hotels. It’s very well located for getting to the slopes, though there aren’t many places to walk to for food in winter.
