Lone Eagle #3017 by Summit County Mountain Retreats

We still had no hot water this morning, after the same problem yesterday. I’m about to face a 12-hour drive home and just wanted a warm shower to wash my hair. I tried the women’s shower area by the gym downstairs, but there was no hot water there either. When I called maintenance, they said there’d be a charge if it wasn’t a fire or flood emergency and I called before 9 a.m. This is a pricey ski-in, ski-out condo. I expect better service and a hot shower.

We loved our stay and are looking forward to coming back. The condo had a great kitchen with everything we needed to make a meal, plus a gas fireplace and a washer and dryer in the main bathroom. There were three bedrooms: two master rooms with king beds and en suite bathrooms, and a twin room with a bathroom across the hall. The locker room was handy, and the place is right by the lift and gondola, with a view over the hill. It’s the best place to stay!

The elevator had already been out for six months, even though they supposedly planned to fix it in mid-November. We were on the fourth floor, so the stairs were miserable. Still, it’s a fantastic place overall, with easy walking access to downtown Keystone, underground indoor parking, a gym, sauna, heated pool, and hot tub. True ski-in, ski-out access, and the three-bedroom rooms have stunning views.

We had a great stay through Summit Mtn Retreats. The condo building is spacious and new, and even the lobby smells really good 😄 We especially liked having dual master bedrooms and two tubs.
