The team seemed to work together to make sure our visit was enjoyable. The manager kept up with each table and checked that the meal met their high standards. We tried the elk, buffalo, venison, and beef, and the flavors were fantastic. It felt like they respected the meat and built each dish to go with it. The lean, dark elk medallion with baked apples was a good example, the apples made it taste juicy and pleasant. I also really liked their new pepper sauce and could see it going well with the beef.

We arrived in South Dakota three days early, and the staff managed to rearrange things so they could fit us in for the extra time. The rooms were clean and beautiful, and the staff were amazing. 12 out of 10 all around, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

It was just starting to get chilly, so we were glad our cabin had a fireplace and that we got our trip in before the season closed. We stayed in a cabin at the top of the hill and had dinner and breakfast there twice each. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and if they didn't know the answer to something, they'd find someone who did. We really enjoyed trying new dishes at the restaurant, and the servings were generous. The sweet potato casserole convinced my husband to come back for a second dinner. Hope we can visit again someday, and thanks for a great stay!

I didn't stay overnight, just stopped in for a meal after sightseeing. Parking seemed okay, and I was seated right away even with the dinner rush starting. There were lots of menu options. I ordered the buffalo filet and bacon-wrapped shrimp as an appetizer, and both tasted great and were prepared really well. The prices were on the high side, though that's true of a lot of food these days. Olivia served me, and the service was excellent, worth the 30% tip I left. This is definitely a "must stop" next time I'm passing through Keystone.

We picked up dinner here two nights in a row, and both orders were good. Ordering online was easy, everything was ready when we arrived, and the orders were always right with all the condiments we might need. It's the best place to eat near Keystone. Parking can be tough in a large vehicle like a pickup truck, though, since the lot is small and the place gets busy.
