The main problem was that the building lost water, and after it came back there was no hot water. Even the “Hot Tub” wasn’t hot. After a day on the slopes, that mattered far more than the few positives. Inside the unit, carpet was peeling up and could trip someone at night. The refrigerator didn’t work; they brought a replacement the next day, but its ice maker still failed. We stayed two nights, and the location was convenient, but the problems were serious. I reported them to SUMMIT COVE VACATION LODGING, at 23110 US Hwy 6, Keystone, and they were no help. I asked for a lower nightly rate and was told, “NO we can't do that. This was not our fault.” It wasn’t my fault either, yet I paid full price with no water or showers. I definitely don’t recommend the Red Hawk Lodge or SUMMIT COVE VACATION LODGING.
