Roosevelt Inn Mount Rushmore

The room looked out over the forest and was cozy and just right. It was very quiet, and the staff were so friendly. Breakfast was wonderful too. Loved it, and I’ll be back.

You can’t see the mountains from here, but Mount Rushmore is really close and the surroundings are beautiful. The beds were comfortable, the morning cook was very kind, and the service was amazing. I loved this nice place to stay.

Right as you come into Keystone from Mt. Rushmore, there’s this quaint little Inn. The staff are genuine, pleasant people who are really helpful to travelers. We had a king room with a jacuzzi near the end of the season. Good breakfast, great coffee. Would recommend!

We liked the peaceful atmosphere and how kind and sincere the staff were. They did what they could to make guests happy, and the kids especially enjoyed the game room and its arcade machine with tons of games. Breakfast was fresh and delicious each day, much better than at a “chain” hotel. Some people said it was the same every day, but that wasn’t our experience. The hotel is just a few miles from Mt. Rushmore, and you can walk to Keystone’s restaurants, shops, and entertainment. We stayed several nights on a family vacation. The hotel was clean and welcoming, though the rooms and building felt a bit dated and could use new paint and carpet. Parking was a little difficult, but that’s down to the surrounding landscape, which the hotel can’t control. The Roosevelt Inn is an excellent choice for lodging.
