We were surprised by how nice it was. The rooms were lovely and very clean, with a firm bed just how we like it. The bathroom and living area were really nice too. The lobby, breakfast room, and workout room were all clean. Breakfast was the usual complimentary kind. If I had to find a fault, the shower wasn’t as hot as I like, though it was perfect for my husband. We’d look forward to staying again.

We’re celebrating our 25th anniversary, and the staff gave us suggestions for both dining and activities. It was a great experience. My only suggestion is to upgrade the breakfast menu.

The beds were really comfortable, the staff were great, and you can’t beat being close to Mt Rushmore and the fun shops. Water was only lukewarm, so showers had to be short, and the hot tub was closed all four days we were there. Breakfast was okay, with biscuits and gravy, eggs, toast, yogurt, cereal, and sometimes great oatmeal. Parking can be an issue. Still, I’d stay again.

The first night we had trouble with the A/C. I mentioned it to the two women at the desk, and they were incredibly kind and offered us a different room. We slept really well after the switch, and the kids LOVED the pool. The motel was quiet and clean, and the location was great. Thanks for a great visit!

The place is styled like an African lodge and really feels that way. The standard rooms were clean and spacious, and the food was excellent. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the coffee is strong. Incredible experience and excellent service.
