Sheldon's Motel by OYO Keysville Near Hwy 360

Thanks to the front desk for taking care of everything. If you need somewhere safe to sleep, shower, and get work done during the day, this place can do the job for the price. The restaurant has been closed for a while because of earlier COVID issues, so changing the Google name to “OYO Sheldons Motel” might help avoid confusion. There are plenty of nearby food spots and diners where the restaurant used to be. Honestly, it’s a case of getting what you pay for.

For the price, having WiFi, a shower, somewhere to sleep, and a microwave for food is hard to beat. It was a much better option for me than sleeping in my car or being homeless, and I’m glad I stayed. Renee and the management team really try to make sure guests enjoy their stay. Thanks to Renee, the staff, and management. 🤍

I stay here every week for work, and Renee is a big reason I keep coming back. She’s incredibly kind and goes out of her way to help, whatever the hour. When I lost my car key and was at risk of being late for work, she offered me a ride there and picked me up afterward. I love this hotel and really appreciate how much she cares about my stay.

The manager also tries to charge more than the online room prices. The service was terrible, the floors weren’t vacuumed or mopped, and the sheets, pillowcases, and towels were covered in stains and looked unwashed. I found the rooms full of bedbugs and cockroaches. This place should be condemned. I’ll never stay here again. Don’t go.
