The upstairs bed was great, but both ground-floor beds were extremely firm and uncomfortable. Neighbors in unit A said their beds were nice, so maybe we just got unlucky. The so-called hot tub was another letdown: the owners told me it had been disabled after they took ownership and is basically an extension of the pool. The pool was often very cold at night. What bothered us most during our stay in Unit 3 was the homeless activity right around the property. A church nearby serves meals daily, and people regularly gathered very close to the unit. On the first night, a man was loudly cursing just outside our lanai while our young kids were with us. Most nights we saw people sleeping along the road and on the beach or grass behind the complex. We like walking the beach with the kids at night, and this made it feel much less comfortable. The beds and surroundings made the stay far less relaxing than we expected.
